A New Idea

There is a new idea, hmmm, it is mine, actually, hmmm, and therefore it belongs to me, but I’m so generous that I’m to share this unique idea, which is very mine, with all of you, with the rest of the world! So, my idea is that we could organise a football (soccer) game on the same day or the following day as the Silly March Forth… It could be a Silly Footie Game.

And you, people are welcome to join in to play or just watch us. This would cost a very little amount of money, but it would go for good: we would support the Spike Milligan Statue Fund from the income.

Ideas And People Wanted

Well, as you may know, this site is created to do something really big (bang) for our beloved heroes, the Pythons. To make the Silly March even more remarkable, it would be good to organise side-programmes/side-effects…, er, hmmm, I mean, side-events as well.

So, if you think you are a great performer and a future Hollywood star or just a soap-opera hero or just an exhibitionist, you are our man or woman or hermaphrodite.

Or if you think you are the biggest artist (painter, sculptor, anything) since Leonardo/Picasso/Dali etc, or bigger than all of them all-together, you are our man, woman or hermaphrodite.

Or if you think you are a living-legend musician, but still your talent is unnoticed by those bastard listeners, but you know that even Mozart was nothing compared to you, you are our man, woman or hermaphrodite.

Or if you think your poems and plays are the world’s bests, and Shakespeare would have learnt from you if you two lived in the same period, or your novels and fictions are so brilliant that those bloody bastard publishers are too jealous and envy to publish them/or telly channels to turn those into a film, you are our man, or woman, or hermaphrodite.

Well, thanks for your attention…

Chris

40 years of Monty Python’s Flying Circus

On 5 October 1969 the Big Six (John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin) convened in the BBC building, London. It was the first of many secret Python time conferences among the major allied extremely talented and powerful young artists. It had been preceded by the very first air-ing of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

Each young artist had an agenda for the secret conference. John Cleese’s position at the conference was one which he felt was so strong that he could dictate terms. He asked for a sphere of crucial influence on British comedy, as essential to the Python’s phenomenon. He introduced his strategies to invade every home in Britain with risqué or innuendo-laden humor, sight gags, and sketches without punchlines. Great Britain would undergo complete Pythonisation over next 40 years.

In a progress…

Welcome!

Welcome to our Monty Python Blog. We all met on the Spanking New John Cleese Forum (you should check it out) and we have all decided to create this website to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Monty Python next year.

We have decided to contribute to the anniversary, by doing what we call a ’silly march in March’ through London next year. If anybody is interested in joining in with the March then let us know by dropping us a comment! :)

We welcome you all!

No psychos aloud.
